Kothari conducts cuesports camp in Cuttack

Former world billiards champion Manoj Kothari arrived at Cuttack today to conduct a coaching camp for billiards and snooker at Cuttack Club. He swung into business soon after his arrival, giving tips to as many as 12 leading cueists of the State.
Kothari spent about six hours, assessing the standard of the players. He appreciated the interest of the local cueists but was of the opinion that they have to work hard to rise to national and international level.
The week-long camp was inaugurated by Cuttack Club vice-president Deepak Rathore. Former State Ranji cricketer Manas Ray, who is also the in-charge of the club`s sports affairs, was present on the occasion.
According to Ray, the coaching camp will be followed by a getogether of State billiards player at the club premises on August 4.
